RETURNS
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) request within 10 business days of the receipt of the product. If the item is returned unopened in the original box, we will exchange it, offer you store credit, or offer you a refund, less 10% restocking fee, based on your original method of payment. The products must be packed in the original packaging, including any accessories, manual, documentation and registration that shipped with the product. A 15% open box fee in addition to the 10% restocking fee (Totaling 25%) will be assessed on any sealed product that is opened or removed from its original packaging.
Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
- Special orders (products at the warehouse) and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
- All Pre-Owned, Used, Military and Consignment firearms are sold “AS IS” and not returnable.
- Products that have been installed or used after receipt.
- NFA items that require ATF Transfer after the start of paperwork.
- Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.
- Any firearm or ammunition.
NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 3—calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.

Items available for sale not listed on this website include discontinued parts or parts for firearms no longer produced. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding parts for firearms no longer produced (such as Vietnam era upper receiver units, obsolete fire control parts, etc.).
All items on this website are subjected to change without notice. This includes item availability, one-of-a-kind items, and pricing.
Warehouse Orders
All items ordered from the warehouse are items that come from the distributor. The distributor receives the order as soon as it is placed on our website. It typically ships to us within a couple days. All general items and long guns are shipped via ground. All handguns are shipped either overnight or 2 day. We typically receive warehouse items 7-10 days after the order is placed. We can not control any shipping carrier and delays do happen.
Restricted Sales
New gun laws are always being passed. While we make every effort to update our terms and conditions to reflect state and federal laws, the information contained in this page may not always be current or all-inclusive. It is your responsibility to know and understand all current laws governing the sale, transport, making of, and ownership of a firearm in your state. Any orders placed that cannot be fulfilled because of certain state or federal laws may be subject to an automatic cancellation and refund, and such orders will be subjected to a 10% restocking fee.
Used Firearm Sales
All descriptions for used items are honest and based on actual items being offered for sale. Items being sold in this manner will be marked as such. All sales on used items are final. Photos will be provided when available. We do not test fire any used firearms sold on our site. Firearms are manually function checked and inspected, only.
All pre-owned firearms or other used merchandised are sold as-is, where is. No warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are made with respect to pre-owned firearms or related merchandise. We strongly recommend consulting the manufacturer of the desired , pre-owned, firearm to determine their warranty policies before making a purchase.
All used firearms should be checked and certified by a competent and licensed gunsmith prior to being used by the buyer. Many used firearms do not come with a user manuals.
General Firearm Sales
All firearms, magazines, receivers and restricted law enforcement items are sold and shipped in accordance with all existing federal, state and local laws and regulations. Firearms will ONLY be shipped to licensed FFL dealers. Many of the firearms, magazines and parts for sale on this website may be restricted or prohibited in your area. Please check your local and state regulations before ordering. You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun per ATF, but state and local laws may differ and you will need to check you local laws before purchasing a firearm.
All new firearms are shipped in the original manufacturer’s box, with magazine(s), accessories and applicable warranty. Please contact the original manufacturer for warranty information on all firearms, accessories and special-order items.
Consignment / Used Firearms
Used firearms may be purchased, traded, or taken on consignment at the discretion of the manager.
We charge a consignment fee of $50 or 10% whichever is higher (minimum charge: $50 per item).

Returned Check Fee
A $50 fee (plus all legal fees) will be incurred when a bank returns a check to us due to non-payment.
Consumer Data Privacy
We respect your privacy and are committed to protect it.
The Credit Card Billing Information, Shipping Information, and Contract Information in our checkout process are required in order to process your order and deliver the product to you. We store some information for accounting reasons. Your information will not be shown to third parties not involved in the transaction, nor used to send you any unrequested information. The entire Checkout process is handled through a secure SSL-encrypted connection.
The Credit Card Billing Information is sent directly to our payment provider who processes your credit card transaction. The Credit Card Information is neither recorded nor stored by us and can only be accessed by our payment provider. Each transaction has a very high level of security. Your Credit Card detail are dent directly to the payment provider over a secure SSL-encrypted connection. They are not processed on our servers at any stage of the transaction, nor are they stored on our server.
Secure Transmission
All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) featuring 128-bit encryption. A Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Certificate creates an encrypted link between a Web site and a visitor’s Web browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the Web site and the browser remain private and secure.
Order Fulfillment
All items that are listed as in-store will ship promptly from our in-store inventory within 3 business days. All items that are listed as warehouse will ship within 3-10 business days. We utilize UPS. FedEx, or USPS for our shipments. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS, FedEx and USPS Priority Mail. Bartoo Arms, LLC is not responsible for any carrier delays once your package has left our premises, this included but not limited to, expedited shipping methods. Bartoo Arms, LLC also cannot be held responsible for losses, inconveniences, costs or other damage resulting from late deliveries. Insurance is not included unless specifically requested.
Online Price & Description Errors
Our online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item’s description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. We reserve the right to refuse any order including bit not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price, In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer’s credit card, or we will refund the money.
If an item’s description contains an error such as incorrect price and a customer makes the order, we will not process the order without first contacting the customer. If the order is mistakenly shipped, we may advise the customer to return the item in an unopened condition and we will refund the customer. By placing an order, the customer agrees that seller will be final arbiter of discrepancies in the online catalog.
Ammunition Purchases, Shipping & Handling Policies
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition online. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.
AMMUNTION sales are FINAL-Returns cannot be accepted for ammunition.
In-Store Layaways
The layaway deposit is 10% and there is a $15 fee added to each layaway order placed. If after 90 days, we have not received payment in full, your layaway plan will automatically be canceled, and any/all payments will NOT be refunded. Items on layaway cannot be changed once the 10% deposit has been received. If a layaway is cancelled prior to 90 days the 10% deposit will NOT be refunded.
Transfers
FFL POLICY AND FIREARMS PURCHASES
Bartoo Arms, LLC will accept transfer from FFL dealers & manufactures with a copy of their FFL. Bartoo Arms, LLC will accept transfer from private individuals from other states ONLY with prior contact with Bartoo Arms, LLC. We will require a copy of their driver’s license prior to shipment and copy with the firearm. NOTE: if we do not receive a copy of their driver’s license prior to shipping the firearm, it will be returned to sender. Bartoo Arms, LLC will provide a copy of our FFL to the transferring FFL via email. We will not provide a copy of our FFL to any customer; it must be sent directly to the other dealer. Firearms that arrive without contact info for the transferee will be held in our vault until we can verify who the correct recipient is. Firearms received without a valid FFL enclosed will be held until the proper license is received from the transferring dealer. If there is a delay because of missing information, there will be a storage charge of $5 per day until the issue is resolved. Firearms shipped to Bartoo Arms; LLC are NOT available for pickup until you are contacted by our staff. Delivery Confirmation from UPS/FED-EX etc. does NOT mean that the Firearm (s) have been logged into our books and are ready for pickup. Firearms are logged into our books in the order they are received and may not always be available the same day. While we try to process firearms transfers the same day, please do not show up to receive transfers until you have spoken without staff. Items not claimed within 10 business days are subject to storage fees of $10 per week. Items unclaimed after 30 days will be surrendered to Bartoo Arms, LLC unless prior arrangements have been made. Firearms transfers being shipped out by Bartoo Arms, LLC to another dealer will ship 1-2 business days after they are received. If customers do not provide a sturdy, suitable box for shipping, it may delay our processing. NO insurance will be added to shipments unless specified and paid for by the customer. We will ONLY ship to FFL dealers after receiving a copy of their FFL license. In addition to our FFL Transfer Fee, customers are responsible for ALL shipping chargers, including insurance, delivery confirmation, adult signature fees, etc… Please contact us to arrange a FFL Transfer or with any questions. $30 per transfer
$15 per transfer for LEO / Military / Firefighters / EMS / Seniors
Transfer of Firearms
Person to Person Transfer: A $30 fee is required to perform a background check (regardless of the outcome). Both parties must be present to perform the transfer. If the purchaser is delayed, we will keep possession of the firearm. Once the intended purchaser has received a “proceed” status. the purchaser must return to the store (at the same time) to complete the transfer. If the purchaser is denied, then the seller must complete a background check to take possession of the firearm.
Dealer to Dealer Transfer:
- If we receive a firearm, the fee is $30 ($15 LEO, Military, Firefighters, Veterans, EMS and Seniors) per form.
- If we are shipping the item, the fee is $20 plus shipping and insurance fees. We ship Monday thru Friday.
If you have a firearm transferred to us and you are denied: When a firearm is transferred to our store, the buyer is responsible for payment of all fees. If the transfer cannot be completed (for any reason), the buyer is still responsible to pay the transfer fee of $30 and a $50 document fee. It is your responsibility to let us know how you would like to handle the firearm.
Your Options:
- Send it back to where you purchased it (handling / Shipping fees apply). You must contact the seller to discuss their return policy.
- Put it on consignment at our store.
- Ask if we are interested in purchasing the firearm from you.
We will not transfer the gun to a friend / relative, as that would be considered a Straw Purchase. If you do not make arrangements within 30 days of the denial date, we will place the firearm for sale and will pay you trade-in value of the firearm.
Shipping Policy
Bartoo Arm, LLC will only ship firearms to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you and will not ship to a P.O. Box. Bartoo Arms, LLC sill ship your purchased firearm to a licensed gun dealer in your state. It is your responsibility to ensure that a firearm is legal to own in your state. It is your responsibility to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer. It is your responsibility to contact the FFL dealer. Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transaction fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. It is you responsibility to check with your local dealer concerning any policy of this kind and concerning you obligations. You will be responsible to pay the local dealer the transfer fee and any taxes that may be required by law. By purchasing a firearm from us you acknowledge that you may have to pay a dealer a fee for transferring a gun to you. You, the buyer, are responsible for coordinating a local FFL to accept the transfer and must provide a FFL certificate. Please email the FFL certificate and the order number to Ron@BartooArms.org
Please note, on all non-serialized items, if your billing address and shipping address do not match, we will not process your order. WE will contact you to verify your identity and will require a copy of your driver’s license or other identification.
